Packing fragile items can be daunting, but with the right techniques, you can keep your delicate belongings safe during the move. Here’s how:

  1. Use the Right Materials
Invest in sturdy boxes, bubble wrap, packing paper, and foam peanuts for added protection.
  2. Wrap Each Item Individually
Ensure each fragile item is wrapped separately to prevent contact during transit.
  3. Cushion the Box
Line the bottom of the box with crumpled paper or foam peanuts to create a soft base.
  4. Fill Empty Spaces
Use packing material to fill gaps in the box, preventing items from shifting during transportation.
  5. Label Boxes Clearly
Mark boxes containing fragile items with “FRAGILE” and “THIS SIDE UP” for careful handling.
  6. Double Box Delicate Items
For extra protection, place fragile items in a smaller box and then secure it inside a larger box with padding.
  7. Test the Box Before Sealing
Gently shake the box to ensure nothing moves before sealing it with strong packing tape.
